It is well established that diverse ecosystems thrive while monocultures are highly susceptible to disease. We Humans at the Fairy Congress take our cues from Nature and focus our intent on creating a diverse culture within the event and the community.
Some people find that following the spiritual traditions of their blood ancestors brings the deepest connections, but others are called to walk the paths of Spirit other than their blood ancestors. This could be because of past life agreements or callings on the Soul level. It is also sometimes evident that the Spirits choose who they want to work with, and they are not always so concerned with skin color or cultural upbringing!
Today we are featuring two interviews with women presenting at the Congress this year who are Bridge Builders, following spiritual paths from traditions different than their immediate blood ancestors, but paths with which they experience a deep calling and connection. It is interesting that both of them speak to the importance of including ancestral acknowledgement in our spiritual practice. We are the result of that which came before us, and unless we look at and heal their traumas we can end up stuck in unhealthy patterns.
First up is Alleson Lansel, who follows a path of Peruvian Shamanism. She first came to Congress last year and we were so impressed with her integrity and wisdom we are very happy to have her back this year! Last year she shared how her Peruvian teachers feel this wisdom needs to get out in the world, they are happy to share it with Westerners as we really need it!
Check out this interview with her!
Aislinn Kerchaert and the Kontomble
We could feel the excitement thru the Realms when we first made contact with Aislinn about coming to present at the Congress. She is a Kontomble Voice Diviner, initiated into the lineage by Malidoma Some. The Kontomble are also known as the Little People, in the region of the Dagara Tribe of Burkina Faso in West Africa. All of our allies are thrilled to bring this branch of the Subtle Family into the Congress fold!
Besides the interview below, she also has a youtube channel. If you want to hear the most recent message from the Kontomble it is here:
It is most interesting to hear the kontomble express themselves through her, you cannot doubt the validity and strength of their connection.
Diverse New Presenters and Offerings!
Over the years (and decades!) of the Fairy Congress existence, we have found that the majority of our participants are women. This may be a reflection of our Earth-centered path. So we are very excited to introduce two younger men who will be offering workshops this year. It is heartening to see and learn from men who are helping heal and embody the Divine Masculine!
Chris Dougherty-Amico has been coming to Fairy Congress for 6 years and has been on the volunteer crew for set up and take down. Chris has studied martial arts for over 20 years, refining his self-discipline. In addition, he has delved deeply into Taoist thought for over 7 years to achieve a more profound perspective into the workings of the universe.
His journey into the Fae began in 2008, and since then he has traveled the world extensively searching for a deeper connection with his martial arts experience as a foundation. Most recently, Chris toured Scotland, Ireland, and Norway where he communed with the Fae in these ancient, storied landscapes and burial sites and returned with an ardent desire to share the knowledge which was revealed to him.
Alandra Markman is an Earth Mage and facilitator of Atlantean Journeys. His life is dedicated to multidimensional awareness and healing art. He has spent countless millennia incarnating on all sides of the Atlantean-Lemurian and Lyran-Draco conflicts, accumulating prismatic wisdom and experience across our galaxy. In this lifetime, he survived decades of Luciferian CIA torture, including dozens of NDEs, and emerged with full memory of his past and future lives. Today he is a well grounded visionary, offering guidance for the transcendence of good and evil and for greater intimacy with All That Is.
Jan Kinsey has been involved with the Congress almost since its inception. This year he will be offering two plant communion opportunities. The first is Love Songs with Hawthorne, along with Morgan Brent:
Hawthorne is a well-known remedy for the heart – on all levels. We will drink a hawthorne elixir, take shamanic journeys to meet and merge with the plant. Join us in singing love songs to the universe, love songs to the fae, love songs to everyone … we call in Hawthorne to help us open our hearts to giving and receiving love.
“When in the future humankind has harnessed the power of LOVE, it will have for a second time discovered FIRE.”
– Teilhard de Chardin
Jan is also teaming up with Scott Kloos to offer a Reciprocal Illumination Ceremony with Dogwood:
One of the great blessings of community is to be witness for each other and to be seen as we truly are. Communing and singing together, we and Dogwood—archetypal emissary of the Queen of the Forest—will reflectively shine like the light of the moon. Through our mutually illuminating presence, we will allow for embodied understandings of the following questions and more:
Can we love what we do not know? Is it possible to coexist in worlds we do not love?
Does our ability to love and appreciate who we are affect our capacity to honor and revere the spirits of Nature, and if we cannot love and appreciate the Spirits of Nature, can we honor and revere ourselves?
And what happens when we as humans do not offer our loving presence and attention to the more-than-human world?
Jan is also heading up the healing tent this year!
At the White Tent, we have a healing team who are trained in various modalities. We have (at least) two massage tables, a chill space, flower essences provided by Camilla Blossom and Robyn Bluemmel (look for their workshops), and regular tea ceremonies with Ben Rosen!
There will be a sign-up sheet, where you can sign up with different practitioners.
You can stop by for an energetic cleansing with smudge, flower essences or rattles & drums. This is a quick but effective way to cleanse the energetic body of old and stagnant energies.
If you are feeling “out of sorts”, and you want some assistance, the folks at the healing tent can help you out.
Our next registration deadline is July 5th! Register before then for the best price! Worktrade positions are also still available
