Chris Dougherty-Amico has been going to Fairy Congress for 6 years and has been on the volunteer crew for set up and take down. Chris has studied martial arts for over 20 years, refining his self-discipline. In addition, he has delved deeply into Taoist thought for over 7 years to achieve a more profound perspective into the workings of the universe.
His journey into the Fae began in 2008, and since then he has traveled the world extensively searching for a deeper connection with this martial arts experience as a foundation. Most recently, Chris toured Scotland, Ireland, and Norway where he communed with the Fae in these ancient, storied landscapes and burial sites and returned with an ardent desire to share the knowledge which was revealed to him.

In this class we will explore a method of reshaping the self to live inside the metaphysical world by looking at and building the skill of measurement.
Measuring is a type of examination that lets you see key components that make up nature as a whole. It gives insight as to how we interact with Nature and how we can inspire change, to ultimately help us evolve into our magikal selves. As children we have all used this skill to interact with nature and our environment, but as adults we generally overlook this forgotten skill. The goal of this class is to revitalize and hone in this skill to help us reintegrate and live with Faerie in our day to day lives.
