The Power of Sound
Join Lauri Shainsky, shamanic sound healer and ceremonial singer, for an exploration of how intention, sound, spirit, listening and the open heart weave together to bring about transformation and manifesting. Listening and connecting with the Subtle Divine realms, we surrender more deeply and open our “song pipe” –allowing divine sound to move through us. We honor and rejoice in our voices (our most accessible transformative instrument), join in communal singing and toning for upliftment and shifting states of beingness, within and throughout.
“Raised by redwoods”, Lauri’s formative years immersed in nature inspired a 3-decade career in ecology and outdoor education. In 1997, she began her shamanic training with Michael and Sandra Harner, Tom Cowan, Jan Engels-Smith, Soul & Nature Constellation work with Francesca Boring-Mason, and sound healing with Tom Kenyon. Jon Young’s teachings cultivated a deeper weaving of naturalist skills and shamanism. As a conduit of Sound and Spirit, Lauri is dedicated to the art and ceremony of guiding learning and healing experiences in shamanic sound, tree mysticism, bird language, and naturalist skills.
